Workplace Services Supervisor


About the Role
Ventia has recently been awarded the TasWater Facility Management Contract to maintain and service 1,835 sites across Tasmania.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the primary purpose of the Workplace Services Supervisor is to coordinate and manage all soft services that are delivered to TasWater sites.

This role will be based out of the TasWater offices in Moonah, Tasmania with the expectation that travel will be required at times.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Delivery of cleaning and other workplace services in accordance with the agreed scope and quality
  • Management of cost control through the implementation of initiatives, quality management and contractor efficiencies
  • Deliver customer satisfaction
  • Compliance with contractual KPI’s
  • Management, reporting and monitoring of financial performance against budget
  • Planning of site events (Christmas, Religious Festivals and reduced activity periods)
  • Contractor compliance to Ventia procedures and policies

To be successful in this key role:
You will have experience working in a similar role in managing maintenance soft services ideally over numerous sites.

You will also possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of cost planning
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • High level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hold a current drivers licence

Experience in the following will be highly regarded:

  • Preparing proposals
  • Experience in the use of CAD and/or SAP

As part of the contractual agreement, any successful candidates will have to undertake a police check and medical check.
