Stores Person
In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia is seeking a Stores person to join the team at RAAF base Amberley.
As a Stores person, you will be providing logistics support to Defence personnel, and assisting with the day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a full time permanent position, working Monday-Friday with 12pm clock off on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures
- Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation including liaison with suppliers
- Assist in the unloading of goods and checking them against order forms
- Complete orders by selecting goods and checking them off the appropriate lists
- Advise supervisor on accurate stock and re-ordering levels
- Operating plant and machinery as required to perform stores tasks
Experiences & Qualifications
- Must Possess a current licence for operating forklifts (LF)
- Good experience in a warehouse/ logistics background
- Must be an Australian citizen and able to complete an Australian Federal Police Check
