Mine Site Plumber


Ventia are currently seeking a Plumber in Middlemount that is responsible for providing plumbing, gas and drainage repairs & maintenance to Anglo American mine site assets, plant & equipment. You will be required to work across an 7 day on/7 day off DIDO roster with a salary of $113,835.83 plus super.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Plumbing, gas and drainage repairs & maintenance as required 
  • Change-outs, new installations and preventative maintenance as required 
  • Represent the company in a professional manner whilst performing quality 
  • Effectively communicate with customers where required and to support other trades 
  • Complete all related paperwork as necessary in a timely manner 
  • If required, to be utilised on “on call” roster or overtime to suit client requirements
  • Compliance with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures 

 About you  
To be successful in this role you will have the minimum requirements:    

  • Registered and licensed plumber 
  • Gas fitting licence – (desirable) 
  • Standard 11
  • Solar and Heat Pump Endorsement
  • Site Safe Passport or equivalent (Desirable) 
  • CPR – First Aid Training (Desirable) 
  • Drivers Licence & White Card 
  • Minimum 3 years post trade experience in Mining/Commercial/Industrial 
  • Previous experience working in a building maintenance position and programmed servicing
