Instrumentation/Electrical Supervisor


About the Contract 

Are you an experienced Electrical or E&I Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity? Ventia, as part of our long-term LNG maintenance contract, is seeking skilled individuals to join our dynamic team. These casual positions will see you engaged on a Shutdown / Turnaround; preventative, corrective and project brownfields maintenance will form part of our scope for the event.  

Your main responsibilities will be to provide field supervision, organisation, and management of labour to ensure that all shutdown maintenance works are delivered safely on schedule and to required quality and client specifications. You will also be required to perform the task of Quality Control on all E&I works completed. 
  
On Offer:  

  • $90.50 per/hour + Superannuation 
  • Opportunity for continued shutdown work 
  • Enjoy on site amenities, swimming pools, tennis courts & ice baths for recovery 
  • Make the most of your down time with arcade machines, darts and pool tables to unwind

 Qualification Requirements: 

  • Certificate IV or III Instrumentation (Instrumentation only)
  •  "A" Class Electrical Licence (WA) 
  • WA unrestricted electrical licence 
  • Current LVR/ CPR (1-year validity) 
  • Current EEHA (3-year validity) 
  • 'C' class driver's license 
  • First Aid Certificate (1-year validity) (Desirable)
  • Cert 4 Leadership & Management (Highly Regarded) 

 Key Skills & Experience: 

  • Supervisory experience in heavy instrument or electrical within Oil & Gas or Mining Industry  
  • Experience in valve work, switch rooms, switchboard and HV assets
  • Turnaround/Shutdown supervisory and leadership experience 
  • Experience with reviewing and approving E&I work packs/ job cards 
  • Experience with E&I Quality control, verifying work executed and closing out work packs 
  • Familiar with using SAP, JDE and or similar software packages  
  • Ability to foster an inclusive site culture & follow HSEQ procedures
