Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician


The Role:

We have an opportunity for a qualified HVAC to join our Ventia team, located at Keswick Barracks. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm. This opportunity is $37.08 per hour with the opportunity to be on call as well as a vehicle to be used purely for work purposes.

Key responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnosis of faults and problems, repair HVAC systems and ensure test plans are in accordance with quality and technical procedures, work instructions and safe practices.
  • Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with defence requirements.
  • Carry out auditing & condition assessments of defence assets.
  • Ensure all safety and quality documentation is accurately recorded.


Your skills/experience:

  • Fully qualified, Refrigeration and AC Technician.
  • SA Restricted Electrical Licence. (Desirable)
  • Extensive fault-finding knowledge.
  • Experienced in applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. (Inclusive of apprenticeship) 
  • Must hold valid Driving Licence and have a reliable vehicle.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain an ADF Clearance.
