Grounds Keeper
Ventia are currently seeking a Grounds Person for our Anglo American Village in Moranbah to maintain and improve the landscaped areas, garden beds and general grounds of the Village and Camp areas. The Grounds Person will work across a 8 day on/ 6day off day, drive in, driove off roster with a salary of $91,564.98 plus super.
Responsibilities
- Maintain areas in accordance with service requirements
- Perform other suitable duties as directed in relation to sites including cleaning of building exteriors, general detailing, floor cleaning
- Ensure safe use and storage of chemicals and seek assistance where required
- Comply with site specific safety requirements and report any potential issues
- Perform all duties in a professional, courteous and friendly manner
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of equipment in accordance with procedures and instructions
- Report faults and damage
Experiences & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in horticulture industry (preferably in grounds maintenance)
- Understanding of landscaping and irrigation systems
- Ability to work proactively in outdoors environment in all weather
- Prerable to hold their Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control Licence (ACDC)
