As a Commercial Specialist, you’ll provide hands-on commercial and contract administration support across projects delivered under the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) in South Australia. Your work will help manage risk, ensure compliance, and drive value. You’ll partner closely with project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of this essential government contract.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Support & Risk Management – Provide hands-on support across contract administration, entitlements, claims, and disputes, helping to manage commercial and contractual risk.

Contract Drafting & Compliance – Assist in reviewing and drafting contract terms, variations, extensions, and notices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legal and business requirements.

Procurement & Subcontractor Engagement – Work closely with procurement and subcontract teams to establish agreements, manage downstream obligations, and report on emerging issues.

Contract Operations & Documentation – Maintain contract registers, portals, and correspondence, ensuring timely compliance with performance reporting, audits, and stakeholder engagement.

Financial & Performance Insight – Interpret financial and KPI models to support commercial decision-making and contribute to the development of operational contract documents during transitions.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Accounting, or Finance. (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract administration roles, ideally in infrastructure or services sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract administration principles and systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risks or opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex contract terms into clear guidance.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with an agile and collaborative approach.
