About the Role
- Position is based Monday – Friday | 7.00am – 3.00pm with the occasional overtime
- General labour duties including physical manual work, various landscaping and civil tasks, and other maintenance duties
- Assist a broad range of tradespersons across the M5 South-West Motorway
- Contributing to a culture of 'Safety and Health above all else' by ensuring that safe work practices are always observed by yourself, fellow team members & subcontractors.
- Demonstrating daily personal behaviour that uphold Ventia values
- Day shift position with the requirement to work 1 week of night shifts each month
- Attend call outs for emergency situations - will attract additional overtime
About You
To be successful, you should have proven experience in a comparable role and excel at collaboration, working effectively as part of a team.
- Hold a current driver’s licence & white card - MR Truck Licence preferred
- Demonstrated experience in general landscaping / civil labour duties.
- Possess the ability to deliver work under a wide-ranging workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including emails and entering data to an asset management system.
- Ability to use whipper snippers, ride on mower & general landscaping tools and equipment.
- Able to work without supervision and to work effectively with both internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding and commitment to WHS, risk management and hazard identification
