Store Person


Ventia has an exciting permanent full-time position for a Warehouse Store Person based at our Defence site in Holsworthy NSW. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4pm.

What you will be doing:

  • Operating computer system to obtain details of stock quantity and location.
  • Receipt and delivery of goods
  • Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves
  • Operating machinery such as forklift, placing and removing items.
  • Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site

Could you be our next Store Person? You must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance.
  • Hold experience in a store and warehousing environment.
  • Have a “hands on” proactive attitude.
  • Have experience with computers and strong knowledge of Microsoft office suites.
  • Hold a Forklift ticket (Essential)
  • Be physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (Essential)
