Senior Project Engineer


Ventia are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team across the Motorways & Tunnels contract. The successful Senior Project Engineer will be offered a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, business hours as usual. This role is responsible for delivering projects on behalf of Transurban as part of the agreed additional services program.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Schedule project activities to suit client’s timeline
  • Liaise with vendors and participate in planning activities to facilitate effective delivery
  • Ensure activities are carried out within budget requirements
  • Contribute to regular and reliable forecasting of project costs
  • Contribute to the provision of regular operational updates
  • Support assurance (risk, quality, compliance. Safety. Value for money) collaboratively with team
  • Support the transition to a network-based model

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical or mechanical)
  • Previous experience working in Transport
  • Valid drivers license and white card
  • Have the ability to work night shift (one week every three months)
