Project Coordinator


Reporting to the Project Engineer you will become part of our supportive and inclusive work environment working on Ventia’s N2P Evolution contract. Our inclusive environment will have you working alongside Engineers, Designers, Field Supervisors and Contractors to meet project requirements. This role offers hybrid working conditions and for 1-year fixed term (possible permanency thereafter).

About the Role
This role contributes to the planning and coordination of the project to deliver success outcomes. The role is varied and has a strong focus on detail, systems and relationships. Industry knowledge in Telecommunications would be advantageous in your ability to understand, multitask and support the demands of the project team. Key responsibilities include –

  • Coordinate and assist the project team with all aspects of managing the project delivery and ensuring all systems/databases/registers are up to date and current. This includes ensuring database entries are correct, tickets of work issued, stock ordering and dispatch, tracking of Program Schedule, monitoring construction works against BoQ and field records, identifying variations to planned works and preparing client notifications.
  • Assist with financial aspects of the project. This includes correct rates applied to tickets of work, final payment reconciliation, validating expenditure against budget, financial forecasting and reports.
  • Aspects of contract management and quality which encompass quality performance checks, systems, reports, non-conformances and close out of defects.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Sound administration / finance & project accounts experience
  • Personal drive, motivation and commitment to your deliverables
  • Sound computer and communication skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high focus on detail
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
