Facility Supervisor


About the role

Total Package $105,000 Including Superannuation & Tool of Trade Vehicle


Ventia’s Defence Base Services (DBS) team are seeking to engage a Facility Supervisor to be part of their close-knit team. This is a full-time permanent position with room to grow, based at Campbell Barracks in Swanbourne, that will see you support our Australian Defence force as part of our national Defence contract.

Key duties, but not limited to: 

  • Supervision of in-house trade staff and subcontractors for all General Estate Works (GEW) 
  • Manage costs, budgets, and timeframes of contracted works
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry WHS and promote a safe working environment
  • Attend meetings to monitor progress and address issues that could affect safety, quality, schedule and cost

Skills and experience:

  • Trade background with experience in facilities maintenance on a range of building related works and repairs
  • Understanding of HVAC and Chiller systems is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating in house trades
  • Able to build effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally
  • Proficient in MS Office and quick to master new systems

Other special conditions 
The incumbent to this position must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.  As a result of this requirement, you must be an Australian Citizen.
  
This position requires a National Police Clearance check and a valid Australian driver’s licence.
