About the role

Assisting in creating a company our residents love, you’ll be the face of the People and Culture team for our employees across a portfolio of our New South Wales homes.  No two days will be the same in this diverse role.  One day your focus could be on coaching and supporting our front-line leaders on engaging teams and building culture and the next you could be advising on complex and often sensitive people matters.

The core foundational HR expertise and skills you will bring to this role are:

Utilising every aspect of your HR experience and building strong stakeholder relationships throughout our homes and central services teams, you will:

  • Lead people & culture initiatives and strategy across your portfolio;
  • Use your ability to coach and develop employees at all levels to build leadership capability;
  • Take a pragmatic and human centered approach to complex IR and ER matters;
  • Play an integral role in delivering a wide range of P&C projects to the business and really stretch and develop areas of your own skill set. 
  • Supporting a portfolio of homes across New South Wales, you will be working very closely with leaders and employees in your homes to build strong relationships.
  • Drive transformational change, this role will see you collaborating on a wide range of projects to embed People & Culture initiatives into operations and ensure success and sustainability of new practices.

  • Demonstrated application of partnering skills in a P&C/Human Resources Business Partner role;
  • Experience working in a shared services model;
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching leaders to create thriving workplace cultures and build autonomy in people leadership;
  • Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Experience delivering change initiatives into the business and supporting leaders implement change;
  • Confidence to facilitate training and leadership workshops
  • Demonstrated capability in navigating complex ER matters within best practice framework;
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment;
  • Ability to travel as operationally required and for team development.
