IT Senior Network Engineer | Full Time | 12 month Fixed-Term Contract | Camberwell Vic

About this exciting role:

Reporting to, and advising the IT Infrastructure Manager, the Senior Network Engineer is a new, project-based role responsible for designing and implementing improvements to our national network ensuring it is secure, robust, and able to meet the growing demands of our thriving business.

This role is based in Camberwell, Victoria.  We love it when our team is together in the office but also understand some people prefer working at home.  We are very happy to support a balance and allow up to two days per week working from home.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Network design and implementation,
  • Working with our Cyber Security team,
  • Wireless network management,
  • LAN/WAN optimisation,
  • Incident and problem management,
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions,

The person who will be amazing in this role has:

  • 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Significant experience in large, multi-site enterprise; preferably in Aged Care or a related industry.
  • Strong and demonstrated experience with Aruba/HPE and Cisco/Meraki network equipment.
  • Experience deploying and managing enterprise firewall solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with network design and architecture.
  • Significant experience managing MPLS and SDWAN networks.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written.
  • Relevant vendor certifications (for example, CCNA/CCNP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
  • After hours availability, a driver’s license, and can travel (including interstate) when needed.
