Administration Officer | Part Time | Mount Coolum

About the role

You’ll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager and client services officer. Usually, your day will involve:

  • Friendly customer service to everyone – whether in person, on the phone or over email.
  • Managing the front desk, answering calls and managing emails.
  • Welcoming visitors, volunteers, contractors to the home.
  • Assisting with ordering supplies and staff uniforms.
  • Keeping on top of paperwork – record keeping, filing etc.
  • Showing off our home to future residents and their families.
  • Supporting the office manager and residential aged care manager in their daily tasks. 

You’ll be a people person and problem-solver, with high attention to detail. You’ll also have:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid computer and data skills.
  • Previous experience in a reception/administration position (highly regarded).
