Who we are

AstraZeneca

This is Who We Are

At AstraZeneca Australia and New Zealand, we share a common purpose: to push the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines. By thinking big and working collaboratively we can change possibilities into realities. Our North Ryde manufacturing plant in Sydney is a world-class facility, producing high-quality medicines that make a difference to patients around the world. We’re one of the largest pharmaceuticals manufacturers in Australia, employing more than 1,000 people.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We’re committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of Australians and New Zealanders. In 2012, we launched a partnership with The George Institute for Global Health, an Australian-based research institute committed to improving the health of millions of people worldwide. Together we created 'Driving Change' - The AstraZeneca Australia Young Health Programme - to assist young Indigenous Australians on their journey to getting a license in communities in New South Wales.

A Great Place to Work

Employee engagement and development are a top priority at AstraZeneca Australia and New Zealand. We nurture an innovative and collaborative culture and celebrate our diversity – the many skills, perspectives and ideas that help us deliver for patients. We need great people who share our love of science and can help us in our mission to create medicines that transform patients' lives and benefit society.
