About the role
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will be key in leading activities for our onshore pipeline engineering, working on assigned projects that include pipeline excavation, defect assessment, asset integrity projects such as pipeline repairs, re-coating, valve replacement, cut-outs and re-alignment.
Experienced in Pipeline (preferred) or an asset integrity role within an industrial manufacturing, infrastructure operation, you will have an Engineering degree and be eligible for or working towards Membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia or equivalent.
You will have experience and skill in undertaking asset integrity projects and maintenance planning and execution. You have knowledge of Integrity assessment techniques and are able to work with subject matter experts to assess and repair equipment. You have the ability to specify repair scope to allow for competitive tender and manage the site execution of these works within Viva Energy quality and safety requirements.
You will a background in applying the requirements of AS 2885 including defects assessment and repair of pipelines. Knowledge of pipeline intelligent pigging procedures and working knowledge or skill in NDT associated with pipeline defect assessment and weld assessment will be highly regarded. Experience in Project Management Fundamentals (cost, schedule, key stakeholder management, quality) preferred.
