About the role:
The Learning & Development Lead plays a critical role in leading the design, planning and program management of Unitywater’s safety and compliance, technical learning and career pathways considering industry and contemporary practices.   

Leading a small team, the position is responsible for partnering with the business to ensure our people are safe, confident and capable to fulfil their roles, and understand how they are able to progress their careers through key development pathways.
  
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
  • Minimum 8 -10 years’ experience in managing a broad range of technical, trade and corporate programs in a medium size organisation.
  • Experience in the successful implementation of learning interventions and change management
  • Working knowledge of Australian Qualification Framework (AQF), Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and vocational, competency-based training.
  • High level interpersonal, communications and relationship building skills, with a strong focus on provision of quality internal customer service and partnering.
  • Demonstrated experience in management, leadership, team building, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills.
