The role

This role is primarily to support the asset team with Transdev vehicle maintenance. You will be required to:

  • Provide a resource for fleet presentation including washing, buffing, polishing, vacuuming and cleaning of busses.
  • Assist Body / Paint trades staff in repairing of vehicles as required.
  • Read chemical safety data sheets and handle chemicals safely.
  • Buff and Polish vehicles using power tools.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate levels of supplies.
  • Ensure compliance to standard Operating Procedures and Compliance towards Work Health Safety policy.
  • Basic computer skills to record jobs in maintenance management system.
  • Organize work records, files and reports.
  • Traveling to all Transdev depots in NSW when required by the Manager.

What you bring

In addition to your experience in trades work, general administration and customer service, you will have demonstrated literacy skills to read material safety data sheets. You will have strong customer service and a good level administrative skills with basic computer skills to enter jobs in the maintenance management system.
