We are seeking the most talented people to transform the Defence communication network and take it into another dimension.

The Role:

The Configuration Manager ensures the integrity of the JP2047 solution delivered to Defence by articulating and linking baselines of requirements, designs, implementation and changes.

Requirements:

  • Expert with a range of CM tools used to manage hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • Rational Team Concert and Rational Asset Manager
  • Expert in physical and logical audits
  • Experience with teaching how to use CM tools
  • Knowledge of networking and network devices
  • Knowledge of IT systems, virtualisation, and data centers
  • Expert in project build/test cycle
  • Expert in deployment of systems to production
  • Knowledge of project management planning
  • Experience in initiating and implementing process improvements
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in Configuration Manager role & in large systems integration projects
  • ITIL Foundation
  • PMI or prince2 certification
  • Experience installation and support of configuration management toolset

Candidates must have current Baseline clearance to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
