Cyber Security Operations Manager


We are going through an exciting period of Innovation within our Technology space, implementing, and integrating new technologies. We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CISO, you will have 2 direct reports, and will be responsible for the alignment and management of IT Cyber Security service providers to support Stockland agreed business requirements

Your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Support the Service Delivery teams to deliver Cyber security projects
  • Create, monitor, and report on a comprehensive set of metrics and KPIs based on the Cyber and IT risk service deliverables and the documented business requirements of the service.
  • Manage remediation activities on security vulnerabilities and incidents, and provide management reporting
  • Support the Service teams to manage and ensure effective implementation of technology security management and frameworks, policies, programs and processes
  • Provide IT security operations and technical advice to projects, infrastructure and across all business units as required.
  • Work with Group Risk to ensure security risks are appropriately identified and managed. Conduct and manage regular security audits of systems to ensure continued system integrity.
  • Working with service owners, own the access control process for critical services within the Stockland environment.
  • Develop and maintain an IT risk register focused on Cyber threat landscape.  Direct effective research to ensure Stockland is kept abreast of technology, business and regulatory developments relating to Cyber and IT Security risks.
  • Coordinate with Project and Delivery Management to drive a set of technical resources to achieve required outcomes.

About you:

  • Degree qualified, with extensive experience in Cyber security and IT risk management processes,  you will have a solid background in security governance
  • This is a hands on operational role that will be well suited to a senior analyst ready to step up in a management role
  • Well versed with  ISO 27000 series of standards, you will ideally be CISSP certified. Experience with Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) will also be highly regarded. 
  • You will also have worked in a delivery role and show strong acumen in continuous improvement and systems thinking
  • With strong written and verbal communication skills, you will be able to build and maintain effective relationships and be able to identify benefit opportunities and prepare business cases
