This role supports the business in pursuit of discharging regulatory and contractual obligations and protecting the organisation by transferring risk to our insurance partners. You will effectively manage the corporate risk financing program (insurance) including the direct management of the insurance renewal process, oversight of claims management, delivery of loss prevention strategies, preparation and delivery of reports and awareness programs, and the provision of advice, guidance and support on all insurance related matters.
You will have demonstrated commercial acumen and highly capable communication skills. You will be adept at solving complex problems with sound judgement. With a proven track record with an Insurer, Broker, or Client and risk management environment (ASX listed companies preferable) you are comfortable managing a large diversified insurance program and building relationships with external insurance service providers. You will also have demonstrable experience in implementing risk engineering/ loss prevention strategies and are comfortable with a hands-on role that has a broad range of responsibilities.
This role has a wide scope providing an exciting mix of hands-on and strategic responsibilities while working on a sizeable portfolio.
