Commercial Manager - Corporate

You are collaborative and proactive, and thrive in complex and ever-changing environments. You have strong commercial management experience, excellent financial and quantitative analysis skills, and the ability to manage commercial relationships with internal and external clients whilst providing thought leadership on significant business development initiatives.

Duties

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will be a key member of the Commercial team focused primarily in the sales and bidding function. With ownership of Commercial returnables, your role is to develop dynamic financial models and provide analytical support to the Bid team, undertaking a range of quantitative analyses to develop cost assumptions, understand trends and influence stakeholders. You will provide significant commercial leadership and advice to ensure the achievement of business goals especially in the areas of pricing and contracting, provide commercial support to alternative bids, and facilitate gate reviews/approvals.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business or other relevant discipline
  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to internationally recognised standard (Australian CA, CMA or COP or equivalent)
  • Advanced financial modelling skills
  • Strong financial and quantitative analysis skills
  • Sound experience implementing operational and commercial strategies and initiatives
  • Relevant experience in a large complex organisation
  • Experience within commercial operations, procurement and/or budgeting
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
