Senior Structural Engineer

Our Adelaide office is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to act in a design delivery and work winning position for our Resources & Energy service group. You will be given the opportunity to work within a strong, supportive team and help drive delivery of multiple design packages across the heavy industrial, resources, water and energy sectors.

Typically, our projects are spread throughout multiple states of Australia and as such a small amount of regular travel will also be required to meet clients and other project teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Detailed design and documentation of predominately steel and concrete structures for projects including:
    --> Industrial Structures
    --> Water Treatment facilities
    --> Substations
    --> Materials Handling
    --> Heavy foundations
    --> Condition Assessment and remediation works
  • Leading the delivery of Structural design projects from inception to completion
  • Engaging with clients in a timely fashion
  • Preparation of tender submissions and other work winning activities
  • The ability to work well within an established group
  • Line Management of more junior team members

In addition to your technical design background, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to collaborating with other engineers in locations throughout Australia & New Zealand and should present with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our senior engineering cohort are expected to model collaborative and constructive behaviours to the rest of the team and we are also interested in speaking with senior practitioners with a passion for mentoring.
