The Deloitte Global Innovation & Investment Incentives (Gi3) practice consults to businesses across Australia, from start-ups and fast growth companies through to leading multinational firms. These companies are conducting exciting R&D, innovation and other critical investment projects in Australia, across industries as diverse as fast moving consumer goods, energy & resources, technology & software through to advanced manufacturing and lifesciences & healthcare.

Across our practice, and at all levels, we are looking for enthusiastic people to engage with our clients on subjects as diverse as technology development projects, business operations, financial & tax queries through to investment & development strategies to help our clients shape and fund their innovation & investment programs.
The roles will include providing services & assistance in relation to:
Leveraging the technology & business insights and experience you bring to this role, along those built through our formal training programs, to engage with key client stakeholders – from CEOs, CTOs & CFOs, through to lead engineers, economic development & policy contacts and tax managers
Building strong client relationships and client service skills
Keeping up-to-date on innovation support programs such as the R&D Tax Incentive, and providing advice in relation to industry issues
Delivering compliance functions for clients and managing several different engagements concurrently
Managing the administrative aspects of engagements in a commercial & proactive manner, including assisting with proposals, budgeting, billing and controlling of work in progress
Maintaining and taking ownership of quality control on assignments and projects
Driving and/or assisting with the growth of the practice through consistent business development activity About your experience
While we are looking for candidates at all levels, you will currently have had experience with another "Big 4" or "second tier" firm or within commerce with respect to R&D Tax and other government incentives, economic policy and / or investment strategy development.
A background in science / technology / software development / engineering will be looked upon favourably.
