Reporting to the Vice President of Solar, your role will be to capitalise on the Australian residential market’s high growth potential, and appetite for solar battery storage technology.

This is an exciting time for Schneider Electric, and we seek an accomplished industry sales executive to deploy a distributor channel ready to evangelise Schneider Electric inverter technology to a market that yearns for reliable, and effective solutions.
 
Delivery of the strategic sales plan through effective leadership is a minimum expectation, however creating demand for Schneider solutions by calling on consulting engineers, energy retailers, telecom service providers, mining companies, commercial and industrial building developers and SI’s will be an immediate undertaking.
 
Utilising honed skills in market mapping, and demand creation activity will be essential, as will leveraging knowledge of the local solar market to capitalise on immediate opportunities. Whilst work has been done already, the next step in the process will be key to ensuring yours, and Schneider Electric’s success in this market.

 
Key responsibilities will include:
 

  • Maintain and expand relationships and business with existing local key accounts and direct accounts. 
  • Provide timely and complete input to tender responses for commercial solar and off grid projects by key accounts and partners. 
  • Develop early prescription for the Schneider Electric products and solutions by calling on consultants, developers, specifiers and project influences. 
  • In partnership with the Vice President Solar, develop specific customer strategies and campaign plans, driving leadership in execution.
  • Carry out market and competitor research.
  • Provide regular reporting to sales management, including sales activities, pipeline development, forecasting, key account status, market condition updates, competitive activity, and sales results.
  • Efficiently and pro-actively manages relationships providing quotations, shepherding orders through the company process, and providing excellent post-sales service on a timely basis.
