What is the role?

Working on a variety of technical projects, this position contributes to the Project Management Office success by supporting the operational delivery of projects. 

Day to day activities include monitoring a range of projects across resource, financial and status information. 

You will provide useful and accessible information, to ensure disciplined project management using Schneider Electric standards, and designated processes and tools. 
 

Key responsibilities will include:
 

  • Create and maintain projects in SAP Project and Services module.
  • Initiating project and services procurement
  • Manage project site inductions and medicals
  • Assist site-based engineers with time sheet entry where appropriate.
  • Generate predefined periodic and ad-hoc SAP reports
  • Assist with employee setup in SAP


Qualifications and experience
 

  • Knowledge of SAP is essential - ideally you will have experience of ECC Project and Service module.
  • Experience with accounting systems and principles
  • Proven administration experience to a large project team within a large organisation, with strong levels of judgement and discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience and fluency in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Formal qualification in general business or equivalent.
