What is the role?
Based in Townsville, QLD, reporting into the Service Delivery Manager, we have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced BMS Service Technician. You will work at multiple client sites across the North Queensland region and become part of a locally based team that provides outstanding breakdown and maintenance service and support to our clients. 


Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be key to your success:
• Performing service and maintenance, troubleshooting, fault finding, programming and commissioning on building management control systems;
• IP configuration and fault finding experience with network routers, switches and other network related hardware;
• Small installations, installing new replacements and small additions to existing systems including fitting off and programming new devices;
• Timely completion of routine service and maintenance documentation;
• You will be required to work on-call on a rotating roster;
• Weekend and out of hours work may be required on an adhoc basis.

• Highly developed technical problem-solving skills;
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with various HVAC equipment and BMS systems;
• Proficient IT skills with a strong understanding of networks and PC configuration;
• Previous experience with BACnet and MODbus type controls;
• IP configuration and fault-finding experience to network routers, switches and other network related hardware;
• Technical knowledge and understanding of Security Access Control, CCTV Systems would also be an advantage;
• An Installer’s Security license and Queensland Working with Children Check or be able to obtain;
• Trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical HVAC are essential; 
• Additional qualifications within Electronic or Security disciplines will be looked upon favourably;
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL based reporting systems will add value to your application.
