About the role

This is a very exciting time to be part of the National Resource Management team with the Deloitte Private (DPR) business. You will be supporting the DPR Resource Management Lead to implement the Resource Management practice for Deloitte Advisory National. After the implementation, you will be the first point of contact to provide Strategic Resource Management solutions from staff utilisation through to optimal staff allocation.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with staff at all levels from partners to vacationers, producing reports and sharing key Resource Management insight with the senior leadership team.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with Resource Management experience, who enjoys working with a diverse team, understanding the business to provide tailor-made Resource Management solutions. You will also become a key enabler for professional growth and development while providing in-depth analysis and recommendations on the staff supply and demand using our state of the art resourcing systems.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Work with the DPR Resource Management Lead on the Resource Management implementation for Deloitte Private Advisory nationally
  • Work closely with Partners, Directors and Managers to drive the Resource Management initiatives
  • Proactively manage the allocation of staff on engagements – allocating the right staff to the right engagements
  • Build strong relationships to understand the staff skills and career aspirations for optimal deployment
  • Review and analyse availability and utilisation reports and provide insights and recommendations
  • Work in collaboration with other internal teams such as People & Performance (HR), Learning & Development and Recruitment

About your experience

We are looking for someone that is passionate about Resource Management, proactive with a “can do” attitude”. You will have demonstrated an ability to develop strong client relationships, ongoing client collaboration, teamwork and optimal communications to deliver outstanding service.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on several simultaneous tasks and projects, prioritising as needed
  • Proactive and positive attitude coupled with energy, motivation and enthusiasm
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to gain credibility and respect from the team Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in following systems and procedures
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel – advanced
