Manager Bank Deposits, Transactions and Payments

In this role, you will manage the Bank’s deposits, transactions and payments product portfolio including product development, compliance, pricing, portfolio strategy and product sustainability. Working closely with Bank Treasury and Group Investments, you will drive product and offering campaigns, ensuring volume targets are met and decision making is robust, effective and based on evidence and analysis. You will also ensure a cohesive “One RACQ” view is achieved regarding the member experience across all bank products and other RACQ offerings. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract opportunity based in Brisbane CBD.

  • Manage all RACQ Bank product offerings, pricing and fee structures in this portfolio to ensure that they are sustainable and competitive and best-placed to support market growth aspirations
  • Develop frameworks and strategies for product value packaging especially across RACQ Group and for key segments
  • Report to key stakeholders, including board and executive committees, on product metrics including ROI, impact on business revenue and competitive advantage;
  • Develop frameworks for onboarding and retention strategies to ensure member satisfaction, longer tenure and deeper relationships
  • Leverage a global view of developing trends and opportunities especially in payments and transactional banking – anchored in digital experience

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience working within a customer profiling or product specialist function in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of research and design principals in order to effectively interpret customer needs and develop sustainable products and services
  • Experience in researching, developing and recommending product offerings
  • Experience in the development and implementation of projects
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including ability to negotiate
