Your new role as an Associate Director will allow you to join a team working across these and other projects designed to create a positive social impact in NSW.

We are seeking Team Members that possess:

  • A passion for working on projects designed to improve the lives of people experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage
  • Enjoy the challenge of managing stakeholders in a collaborative manner to achieve consensus outcomes
  • Understanding of the strategic and procurement phase of social infrastructure projects including social and affordable housing, schools, hospitals and other assets and services (and the policy settings in which they operate)

The skills & experience that have led to success for other Associate Directors include:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong client and project management skills
  • Report writing experience including the preparation of proposals
  • Previous experience consulting or advising on infrastructure projects (public or private sector)
  • High attention to detail as our work directly impacts the lives of some of NSW's most vulnerable citizens
  • Comfort working within a project team environment, producing high quality deliverables and coaching, managing and motivating team
  • Experience providing commercial or strategic advice which may include some of the following: procurement options assessment; risk analysis; financial analysis; preparation of commercial principles and input to contract documentation; development of market engagement and tender strategies; development of tender documentation; bid evaluation or negotiation advice

Qualifications required:

  • A background in law, government, finance, social policy or ministerial advice would be highly regarded.
