An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Customer Supply Chain Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Sydney.

Reporting to the Customer Facing Manager, you will efficiently support the customer replenishment process across multiple customers, focused on highest possible service delivery with insights and analytics, and consistent satisfaction achievement whilst driving efficiency for both Nestle and Customers, delivering forecast improvements, and on shelf availability of products, along with coordinating Customer Facing activities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

  • Monitoring and identifying end-to-end order to cash efficiency processes including correct order placement, automated Electronic Data Integration issues resolution (where applicable), and delayed/missing load issue resolution daily, claims credits refusals management and outstanding invoice resolution.
  • Support and drive continuous excellence principles and practices and adopt a Continuous Excellence mind set in day-to-day function, including problem solving, and identifying root cause to improve operations.
  • Prepare range of planned and ad-hoc reports on Customer Facing performance. Track and report on industry performance/benchmarking. Analyse and provide value-added insights to stakeholders in the provision of any reports/information/presentations required across the Customer Facing Supply Chain team.
  • Demonstrate Cross functional alignment with DSP and Sales and integration points through customers' buying and replenishment teams. This includes demonstrating commercial acumen and an ability to draw insights between replenishment and business/sales results.
  • Align customer forecasts and supply for promotions and new product launches / changeovers with the customers, managing product discontinuations, short supply lines communications and obsolete lines with the support of the Customer Solutions Team, across the selected customers.
  • Accurate and timely review of baseline & promoted demand forecasts for previous and future weeks where data is available. Building and managing the collaborative planning process including data review for promoted sales trends and maintaining baselines, ensuring trends actioned and improve for Nestle forecasts into the future.

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Five or more years of preferably Supply Chain or Sales experience and operational experience at a market/ business level, in the following areas are beneficial
  • Working for or with a customer in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in business improvement projects or teams.
  • Understanding of Order to Cash process / Customer service focus.
  • Commercial and business acumen and its relationship with CFSC including sales and overall business performance.
  • Effective stakeholder management, including negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in analytics and translating to value-added insights.
  • Degree Qualified and or APICS desirable. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • FMCG exposure desirable.
  • SAP experience.
