Works Programming Coordinator

In your new role in the Works Programming team, you will be the go to person for analysis, reporting, forecasting and planning. You will work closely with the Works Programming Manager and Regional Workforce Managers in delivering the program of work. To be successful, the role will work closely with nbn groups as well as relevant external contractors, suppliers, industry bodies and other third parties to deliver Workforce Capability.

Please note, this is an 18 month fixed term contract.

A bit about your role

You can contribute to:

  • Programming/Scheduling of work to the Internal Work Force and External Work Force
  • Analysis, reporting and forecasting
  • Ensure all work is completed within agreed Service Level Agreements in a cost effective manner
  • Maintain and amend maintenance schedules as required
  • Material Ordering
  • Maintain and amend Qualification, Training, Asset Registers, On-Call Rosters, IVR, Fleet and other administration activities
  • Workflow management of MACS Tickets of Work

A bit about you

  • Advanced reporting and forecasting experience
  • Must have extensive Excel experience as well as thorough command of PowerPoint and other MS related products.
  • Proven scheduling background and experience preferably within Telecommunications or Field operations based roles
  • Familiarity with current telecommunications technology developments
  • Experience in the development, definition and maintenance of operational processes
  • Excellent training and presentation skills with solid oral and written communication capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to step up to the next level and cover some management responsibilities when required.

You will have a focus on process improvement and always seeking to do things more efficiently with the same resources. You should also be comfortable with change - nbn is a fast moving organisation with a lot of change and new challenges every day. We think it’s great, but understand it’s not for everyone.
