Learning & Development Coordinator - 6 Month Contract

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Learning and Development professional for a (6 month fixed term period) with Learning and Development experience who can drive the centralisation of programme coordination across the team.

The Learning and Development Coordinator will provide programme coordination for learning/training events, manage all processes for learning and manage and drive the deploy aspects within the Learning and Development (L&D) team.

Key responsibilities will include:

 Overseeing the set-up of sessions within the Learning Management System (LMS) including assigning sessions to learners, generating emails, build of evaluations, organising calendar invites, venues, etc;

  • Developing event management plans for learning events and coordinate all resources for events;
  • Managing the learning materials, evaluations/inventory across L&D;
  • Developing and simplifying processes;
  • Monitor Training Support mailboxes for issues and questions related to learning events and basic Learning management system issues
  • Providing key metrics for learning events on a regular basis; and
  • Positive stakeholder engagement with the business, suppliers and the wider L&D team.

 About You

You are highly self-motivated individual with demonstrated experience in an Events Coordination role within a Learning & Development environment. You are focused on achieving positive outcomes for the business and comfortable in making key decisions and challenging processes as required.

Other requirements include:

  • Exceptional planning, organisation and time management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Logical reasoning.

 Desirable requirements and yet not essential

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment;
  • Demonstrable experience in utilisation of a Learning Management System (LMS);
