We recognise talent, ambition and passion in people and are looking for someone to join our team to continue the great staff engagement work that has been done, partner with the Managing Director on organisational change strategies to meet the high growth, and act as a genuine adviser on all people and culture matters.

You’ll work as part of a high performance People & Culture Team, and have the guidance of a highly experienced and passionate People & Culture Leader. We’re looking for a someone who is ambitious and seeking a unique opportunity where their commercial acumen is as highly regarded as their HR knowledge and experience.

It could be that you’re looking to take your OD/L&D background to a generalist HR role or seeking to work in a high growth business in the technology sector. We are really open to someone who has stepped outside of HR and into a commercial role, such as sales or marketing, or even run their own business. We’re also interested in what you as a person can bring to the role and the experience additional to HR may come from extracurricular activities such as community-based involvement, volunteering, coaching or mentoring. Although this role does not manage people directly, it is a Leadership role in the Business and therefore any examples you can bring to life of how you have provided thought leadership, or demonstrated personal leadership abilities will be important.

By nature, we’re looking for someone who wants to make a difference. Who is commercially savvy and not rule book driven. You’ll be a team player who takes their work seriously, but not themselves. Macquarie Telecom Group (and Macquarie Government) have always been known for their innovation, challenger mentality and pushing the boundaries. If this resonates with you, please get in touch immediately.

The technical requirements :

  • At least 5 years’ business partnering experience
  • Experienced in building a people and culture plan and developing and delivering employee engagement activities
  • Exposure to a technology environment and passion for technology preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in working with competing priorities and diverse stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills including ability to facilitate and present
  • Ability to build relationships and truly partner within the central function and client business units

We would love to hear from you.
