Training and Relationship Consultant - Third Party Wealth Distribution - Sydney

About the role:

An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic Training and Relationship Consultant to provide initial and ongoing training and support to external financial advisers (and their staff) on Macquarie products, platforms, services and enhancements. 

We are positioned within the sales team and ensure our clients fully understand the benefits of partnering with Macquarie through the use of our market leading products and services.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients on a day-to-day basis with a view to:  

  • Develop and maintain quality phone-based relationships with external advisers to actively promote Macquarie products and services
  • Understand adviser needs and work closely with our product owners, project teams and other internal stakeholders to advocate the direction for future product enhancements
  • Investigate adviser’s processes and consistently make suggestions for improvement to ensure they are working with Macquarie in the most efficient way possible
  • Proactively follow through on all client requests, communicating outcomes to clients and advisers
  • Actively train and support external advisers and their staff on Macquarie products, new product features and service enhancements

About you:  

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience achieving results in a phone-based role
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience
  • Highly articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven to achieve results in an autonomous environment
  • Able to display proven results of collaborating within a team
  • Working knowledge of the adviser market, ideally with 3+ years of experience in financial services
  • Previous experience establishing relationships and networking would be beneficial
  • RG146 compliant or wiling to undertake further study
