Technology Manager - Resilience and Obsolescence


A great opportunity for you to join us as a Technology Manager within the Resilience, Obsolescence and Patching Strategy Team.  The team is accountable for the delivery of the Technology Resilience, Obsolescence, Patching strategies and frameworks.

This is a management and coordination role in which you will utilise your technical background, organisational skills and stakeholder engagement expertise to work with our global technology teams.  As part of the team, you will be responsible for coordination and execution of components of the Technology Resilience and Obsolescence Strategies. This will include involvement in major data centre failovers, supporting the delivery of improved technical resilience solutions, driving results to remediate obsolescence risk, and uplifting our standards in line with internal strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Contribution towards successful achievement of the measures of success for resilience and obsolescence
  • Reporting and representation of resilience and obsolescence in internal forums
  • Management, reporting and mitigation of resilience and obsolescence risk
  • Coordinating projects to ensure adoption of improved technical resilience and obsolescence solutions
  • Successful coordination and execution of major data centre failovers

We are looking for you to bring a wealth of previous experience in delivering and working on technical projects.  You will also have an understanding and experience of technology environments and infrastructure platforms. We will also expect you to have experience with project execution, coordination and influencing of priorities and effective stakeholder management. It is beneficial if you have had experience of operational excellence or process improvement.
