Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

As an experienced Senior Manager, you will join our Sydney based Corporate and Asset Finance team, providing advice to the Corporate and Asset Finance business by proactively partnering with the business to provide insights and analysis, helping drive business performance.
In this challenging role, you will review and report the results for the group and individual businesses. Your key responsibilities will include presenting and discussing information to senior stakeholders and the group head, coordination and delivery of the monthly rolling forecast, annual budget and strategy inputs across the businesses as well as managing and assisting in implementation of allocation methodologies for the group’s recoveries and cost base. You will also impact process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and help realise efficiencies. Finally, you will also undertake providing support on ad-hoc financial analysis tasks including cost initiatives, business cases and scenario analysis. Project based activity supporting the wider team and our Financial Management Group on their business strategies will be something you will be involved in on a regular basis.

Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification is desirable but not required, coupled with strong business partnering knowledge and experience within financial services or a retail client focused sector. Strong Excel modelling skills and data analytics (PowerBI & Alteryx) experience will also be required, and a proven track record of anticipating and serving evolving needs, adapting to change within the business and appreciating the “big picture” will need to be demonstrated.
