Platform Operations Administrator

An opportunity is currently available within the Macquarie Platform Operations Teams team. The team is the first point of contact for all matters relating to the Wrap Platform within Banking & Financial Services (BFS).

About the role

This role will be responsible for daily administrative tasks related to the Macquarie Wrap Platform. As a member of the Platform Operations teams, you will be required to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) and be able to work under pressure and in a changing environment.  There is a strong emphasis on quality within the team to assist with enhancing performance and service excellence across BFS. It is a requirement of this role that all client requests are actioned each day. Key responsibilities include;


  • processing and authorising of applications, client & adviser maintenance, payment processing and asset transfer requests
  • working collaboratively with peers to ensure work is processed accurately and SLA is maintained, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completing of requests to solve issues and meet client needs
  • Understanding all aspects of processing, with focus on legislative, risk and reputational implications, maintaining procedures via the BFS Central's knowledge management tool
  • participating in regular team meetings to provide feedback around process improvement and increasing the service offering to clients

The successful applicant will have;


  • previous experience working in a processing and authorising (quality checking) role
  • knowledge of Wrap administration platforms and experience working with superannuation products, managed funds, Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed securities and international equities is preferential
  • strong outcome focus with the ability to investigate, analyse and resolve issues
  • the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal clients
  • proven history of high performance.
