An opportunity has arisen within out Credit Assurance team for a Manager, giving you exposure to reviewing credit across the whole Group including complex commercial transactions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your credit risk analysis skills across a diverse range of credit, equity and trading exposures. You will be required to engage with all levels of management and use your strong communication skills to articulate review findings and drive positive learning outcomes. Commitment to the further development of Macquarie's Credit Assurance Framework is a key success factor.
Joining a small knit and high performing team, you will be involved in planning and executing the credit review program. At a functional level you will assess credit risk analysis encompassing rating accuracy, key risks, risk return analysis, provision of insightful reporting of outcomes understanding the risk profile, key policies and processes and, applying analytics to credit risk data to identify risks and trends to improve business risk management. In responding to requests from various stakeholders, auditors and Macquarie senior management, this role will allow you to utilise and further develop your excellent stakeholder management skills.
This position will suit applicants with a tertiary degree in Finance or a related area, direct experience in a credit risk discipline, such as credit assessment, credit decisioning, credit assurance, risk advisory experience gained within a dynamic international financial institution or professional services firm. As a lateral thinker, you will demonstrate strong problem solving and persuasive skills, with an ability to initiate and lead conversations with business and credit risk leaders and colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues. You will also utilize and test your technical and report writing skills to effectively communicate review outcomes.
