Lead Salesforce Engineer


Join Australia’s most progressive technology-led financial services provider and lead our Salesforce.com Enterprise implementation across our originations platforms. 

In this permanent position you will work alongside a geographical diverse team of empathetic technologist working to integrate and bring together and develop a highly customised Salesforce solution across our originations platforms (nCino, SAP Banking).

You will provide technical leadership to the teams, mentoring the successful work of others in evaluating the business objectives, developing user requirements, and generating technical specifications, helping to bring in Salesforce best practices and design patterns. In this role you will engage with stakeholders, communicate with the wider release trains and work with both business and vendor partners to help them in succeeding in delivering the best possible client experience.

We envisage for you to be successful in this role you will have:

  • 4+ years of development experience in a large organisation with a complex technology landscape, that includes Salesforce experience
  • strong understanding of Salesforce data model and data architecture principles and an understanding of Salesforce declarative capabilities coupled with the ability to determine the right customization approach
  • hands on experience authoring APEX classes, Triggers, Batch APEX, and Lightning components and understanding of authentication, authorization and security patterns
  • practical familiarity with microservices architecture concepts, including API gateways, security, scaling, resiliency, and operational monitoring
  • integration experience within the Salesforce space (REST, SOAP, ESB, API)
  • experience in Service Console, CRM, ERP Systems
  • product team experience.
