Lead Engineer – Wealth
We need a talented and driven team player to join our multiyear Wealth Transformation Program within the BFS Wealth Management division.
Working in an agile fashion, you will work in a multi-talented, diverse team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
As a lead engineer you will help design, implement and maintain our wealth platform. You will also need to interface with the vendor and internal teams to implement the model bank solution
This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- wealth platform implementation
- application design & architecture
- software Development Life Cycle
- J2EE deployment within JBoss
- database: Oracle
- experience with Rest API development and JMS messaging (eg Solace)
- knowledge of secure coding principles
- strong understanding of software development best-practices
- experience in working in Agile environment.
Nice to have:
- Unix, Ctrl-M (ksh and/or Spring Batch)
- Cloud: Docker, AWS, OpenShift, APIGEE experience.
