Junior Business Manager


The Business Management team is responsible for the development and execution of the overall strategic vision and objectives through COO style support. You will drive real change through contributing to strategy and change, people and communications, operational excellence improvements and cost management.

In this role, you will work closely with the Group Treasury Business Manager and Group Treasury Management Committee to help shape the direction of the team and ensure its effective management. It is critical that you can take complex information and concepts and communicate these effectively to the wider group.

You’re proactive, efficient and have an eye for detail. Your skills as a communicator, along with your ability to prioritise workloads is what enables you to effectively manage and deliver results for a wide and diverse group of stakeholders.

You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of tasks across business management, finance, strategy and business resiliency. You will be passionate about driving employee engagement and will flourish in a fast-paced working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong planning and prioritization skills – an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting prioritization as needed, and remaining agile. There is a need to be able to drive initiatives autonomously, keeping the team up to date as required.  

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues at all levels. This is a team-based role, so you will need to possess the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and across large complex environments.
