HR Central Vendor Management Specialist, Executive

Join our HR Business Management team as a Central Vendor Management Specialist to champion all aspects of vendor management and vendor risk management within our high-performing HR function.

In this role you will be providing insights, analysis and reporting on HR’s vendor portfolio to the HR Senior Leadership Team and HR Vendor Managers.  You will have central oversight and maintenance of the division’s vendor portfolio and ensure relevant vendors are managed appropriately in line with Macquarie’s vendor related policies and procedures, as well as work to continuously improve tools and processes.

You’ll play a key part in the vendor management community in providing support and advice including Vendor Manager training and partnering with other relevant areas of Macquarie as appropriate. Reporting to the HR Business Manager, your remit will include central oversight, tracking and driving of HR’s framework compliance – vendor profiling, attestations/health assessments, data retention and action tracking.  Liaising with the central Macquarie Sourcing and Vendor Management team and Risk and Technology, you’ll serve as a conduit to other areas of Macquarie ensuring vendor risks are understood and mitigated or accepted where required.

Holding strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to foster two-way dialogue on vendor risk matters you will ensure obligations are completed and actions tracked. Your understanding of vendor governance and vendor related risk will be highly regarded. You will have an appreciation of current trends/movements in vendor risk management, for example cyber risk and data privacy risk.

This is a fast-paced role and will require you to be a self-starter with experience in proactively driving a significant programme of work, whilst managing and prioritising execution of activities.

To apply, we are seeking a covering letter and concise resume as one Word or PDF-formatted document.
