Executive, Wealth Management Finance Partner


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Banking & Financial Services Financial Control team in Sydney. In this role you will partner with our Wealth Management division and provide financial control and decision support to our business channels and the CFO.

You can expect to be challenged in this role as you partner closely with the business and use your technical accounting skills to provide support and advice for new products, deals and restructures and work on a variety of ad hoc projects with a primary focus on the accounting considerations. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders, a deep insight into the balance sheet and the opportunity to have a commercial influence in this role.

You will use your strong relationship building skills to engage with a variety of key stakeholders including the senior leadership teams, Treasury and Funding, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, Tax and the external auditors. You will be asked to think strategically in order to identify opportunities for automation, identify process improvement opportunities and realise and create efficiencies on a regular basis. You will be a confident and articulate communicator, ensuring a free flow of information between Sydney and our offshore Financial Control team.

A positive and resilient attitude combined with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing deadlines, will allow you to succeed in this role. We would like you to be CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in the financial services industry or a similar commercial environment.
