End User Computing Engineer ( EUC)


Join us as an End User Tech Engineer with an Enterprise Mobility Management focus within our Devices & Connectivity team and play an integral role in the delivery of our device strategy at Macquarie. You will work within a team that supports and enables our global business activities by providing technology services across Physical Devices (i.e. laptops/BYOD), Mobility, Desktop Operating System, Application Packaging, Printing, and Remote Access.

In this role you will be accountable for the technical delivery of project-based work and will be pivotal to our team successfully delivering a global device strategy for the group. You will be a point of escalation for Level 3 support queries and assistance and will be responsible troubleshooting Active Directory, Microsoft, Windows and network technologies. It will require close collaboration with various internal and external technology and business team. You will have a customer-centric attitude with excellent communication skills.

A background in Mobile Device Management (MDM), MDM design, networking, and automation in large enterprise environments would be key to be successful in this role. In addition, your technical skills will include:

  • sound knowledge of mobile device management technologies, preferably VMware AirWatch, VMWare WorkSpace One and Intune
  • experience in design, deployment and management of iOS, Android, ChromeBook, MacBooks and application deployment across these platforms
  • key skillset required - VMWare AirWatch, VMWare Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, O365 and Powershell and networking technologies such as firewalls and routing
  • detailed understanding of VMware AirWatch/WorkSpace One, Microsoft Intune and O365design and/or implementation and management of MacBooks and ChromeBooks would be advantageous
  • a sound understanding of Microsoft Intune Design, Active Directory, Windows and Unix Servers, networking technologies such as F5 and Clearpass not essential but looked upon favourably
  • strong problem-solving skills with an end-user focus, specifically in a global and dynamic business environment 
  • documentation skills in referencing existing and developing new materials where required. Confluence and JIRA tools will be considered favourable
  • demonstrable capability in seeing the operational impact of design decisions to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
