Associate - Regulatory Operations

Liaise with various teams across Macquarie to process global transactions and help our Front Office to provide a seamless process.

Join our Market Operation Division in this permanent Associate role in our Regulatory Operations team. The team is responsible for the on-going management and administration of global derivative transactions across all businesses which are cleared or reportable from pre-settlement to termination.

As such, you will be required to analyse proposed transactions and implement their successful operation in line with new legislation as well as contribute to managing the implementation of regulatory changes from other countries.

Day to day, you will investigate reconciliation exceptions, prepare and monitor the risk reporting process. In addition to this, you will escalate any issues that arise through these reconciliations and reporting and involvement in testing project work to meet changes in regulatory rules. Liaising with the Front Office you will also assist them with any regulatory reporting queries.

With prior experience in financial markets you will have excellent problem solving and communication skills whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail. An understanding of DTCC, or Markitwire would be advantageous as you will be part of a fast paced operations team.
