Regional Finance Manager

We are currently looking for a Regional Finance Manager for our Retirement Living business. This is an outstanding role, combining business partnering, hands on operational accounting, stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to be strategic and big picture focused.

Your role will be responsible for managing the financial affairs of our Premium region which currently consists of 8 villages with further opportunities to expand. The role will report to the National Finance Manager and act as the finance business partner to the Region’s General Manager Your role will be responsible for the operational and management accounting function for the region along with assisting the General Manager in establishing the strategic direction of the Village Management function. This is a broad and exciting role where you will be responsible for the financial performance of the region and each village within the region, , setting regional targets, driving / monitoring performance and completing month-end reporting with the objective of optimising the value of the villages within the region. A critical element of the role will be to partner closely with the General Manager to assist in developing asset strategies, plans and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders within the region.

As your stakeholder group will be diverse, excellent people skills are of paramount importance in this role. You must also be able to demonstrate experience working in an ever-changing environment and the ability to motivate and drive strong team performance. This role will ideally suit a Manager from a Big4 or a Mid-Tier environment looking to make their first move into commerce. Experience in Retirement Living and or Property will be highly regarded. You will thrive in a team based environment and be comfortable being a self-starter who can work independently with a high level of initiative. Your skills and experience will be supported by CA/CPA or other relevant post-graduate qualifications.
