Land Access Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has been created for a Land Access and Stakeholder Coordinator within our land access team working on Australia’s largest telecommunications infrastructure project.

With unprecedented growth in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, we are seeking an experienced Land Access and Stakeholder Coordinator to be invested in the construction of the National Broadband Network’s network in New South Wales.

The role will be responsible for stakeholder engagement and consultation, delivering land access and statutory approvals communication including Heritage, Environment and Cultural notifications ensuring compliance with Schedule 3 of the Telecommunications Act 1997.

Reporting to the Land Access and Stakeholder Manager, you will also be responsible for the investigation and resolution of stakeholder complaints, reputation management and collaboration with project and construction teams in the effective implementation of land access, statutory approvals and communication procedures while building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Together with tertiary qualifications in communications, stakeholder engagement, environment or a relevant field we are seeking a passionate professional with demonstrated experience in public and private land access, stakeholder engagement, communications or heritage, environment and cultural issues.

Ideally you will have previous experience in large complex construction, industrial, technical or commercial projects and a proven track record in working with various regulatory authorities. Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking, problem solving, leadership, collaboration, written and verbal skills will be highly regarded.
