Finance Manager, Development


The Asset & Project Insights function is the critical enabler for providing high value add insights, analysis and financial reporting at a project, asset and fund level across the Australia Business Units. This function combines a diverse set of core Finance capabilities that would be delivered across the range of project, asset and funds within the Australia businesses.

The role of the Finance Manager is primarily responsible for the financial management, analysis and reporting of group development projects within the overall accounting framework of Lendlease. Collaborating with the API Development Lead, drive the provision of appropriate commentary and insights on project risks and opportunities by undertaking scenario and sensitivity analysis to determine financial impacts.

You will support enterprise thinking across the Project & Asset Insights function driving consistency in the delivery of services. Further, you will contribute to the successful delivery of, and execution towards elements of finance improvement across the Australia region Business including providing relevant subject matter expertise.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications ideally with experience in the financial management for a portfolio of development projects and structures including joint ventures. You will have a demonstrated skills in project forecasting and overheads budgeting as well as financial or cashflow modelling. A high proficiency in Excel is essential.

You will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to develop strong working rapport with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills will be complemented by your first class decision making and influencing skills with the ability to adapt rapidly to new situations and support others through change, whilst navigating a matrix environment.
